Associate Director of Emergency Response
Jessica is the Associate Director of Emergency Response at the Societal Computing and Innovation Lab. She works on fire modeling and prediction, including as part of the Fire Integrated Real-Time Intelligence System (FIRIS) Fusion Center. Her research works to mitigate disasters using emerging technologies and studying the physical environmental processes between humans and their environments. She has a Master's degree in Geology from Arizona State and serves as the chair of the California Wildfire Safety Advisory Board within the Office of Energy Infrastructure Safety.
