Isaac Nealey is a PhD student at UC San Diego. As part of his PhD program research, he currently serves as one of the Societal Computing and Innovation Lab's lead virtual reality (VR) and immersive experience developers. His primary focus is on the development of the immersive visualization of scientific data, studying ways to leverage modern computing paradigms and graphics tools to engage with complex, high-fidelity data sets in an intuitive and exploratory manner. His work has involved leveraging 3D computer graphics to visualize the various kinds of data involved in fuel and fire modeling.
