Haley Kawar serves as the Education and Partnerships Coordinator of the Convergence Research (CORE) Institute. She serves in the same role at UC San Diego's Bioregional Center for Sustainability Science, Planning, and Design. In these positions, she works to catalyze impact networks of researchers and practitioners committed to collaboratively engaging in research that is driven by urgent societal challenges and that requires deep integration across disciplines and sectors. In addition, she designs and leads experiential fieldwork experiences for students to engage with place-based, convergence research. Outside of her positions at UC San Diego, she works at a local ranch in San Diego. She holds a BS in Psychology and Climate Change and Human Solutions.
