Research Management Lead
John is a Senior Research Manager at the Societal Computing and Innovation Lab. His work involves long-term planning for funding and staffing research streams and conceptualizing tools and workstreams to maximize social impact. Prior to joining SDSC, John's research focused on civil conflict, humanitarian response, and reconstruction. During this time, he worked in the Dadaab displacement camps and led the research design efforts at two labs focused on political development and peace. He holds a PhD in Political Science from UC San Diego and a JD from the University of Minnesota.
