Associate Director of Education
Pedro is Computational Data Scientist at the Societal Computing and Innovation Lab engaged in educational projects such as the National Data Platform’s Education Hub, the Coursera Big Data Specialization, and the FOUNT initiative. Pedro is deeply committed to accessible education. Before joining SDSC, he contributed to education policy as a data scientist. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC) and a Master of Science in Computational Analysis and Public Policy from the University of Chicago.
